About Immanuel
At Immanuel all of our worship services offer meaningful sermons rooted in the Word of God. The message helps us understand our relationship with God and how He makes a difference in our lives every day. We offer a variety of music, original dramas, and children’s sermons.
Sunday 8:00 a.m. Traditional Worship Service
*Communion is available on the 1st and 3rd Sundays.
Music for this service is accompanied by an organ. The Sanctuary Choir, Bell Choir and other special music are also frequently offered.
This service includes: a Confession & Assurance of Forgiveness, Lessons for the day, a Creed, a Sermon, the Lord’s Prayer and hymns from the Lutheran Book of Worship (green hymnal). A nursery and a quiet room are available.
Sunday 10:30 a.m. Contemporary Worship Service
*Communion is available on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.
Music for this service is led by the Immanuel Praise Team of singers and musicians.
This service includes: a Confession, Lessons for the day, a Sermon, a Statement of Faith, the Lord’s Prayer and Christian Contemporary music. Casual dress is welcome and a nursery and a quiet room are available.
Wednesday 6:30 p.m. WOW (Worship on Wednesday)
This is a very casual service and it offers a different message than the Sunday services and a variety of music. During Advent and Lent these services often include original dramas and are preceded by a meal at 5:30 p.m.
Sunday School is available for ages 3 – Adult (September – May) at 9:15.
Coffee Time and casual conversation are available between our Sunday Services at the “Gratias Kitchen” in our Fellowship Hall.
*Communion – If you are baptized, believe that Christ is truly present in the Sacrament, and would commune at your home church, you are welcome to commune at Immanuel.
Immanuel Lutheran Church is easily accessible for those with disabilities. We have three entrances on the main level with no stairs, and we have an elevator inside the building for easy access to the lower level.
Immanuel has a nursery available at both Sunday services giving parents peace of mind knowing that their children are cared for while they attend worship services.
A quiet room is conveniently located overlooking the sanctuary allowing parents to see and listen to the sermons in a private room while tending to their children's needs.
Baby changing stations are also available in the men's and women's facilities just outside the sanctuary for the convenience of our visitors and members.
